3/1/2024 0 Comments Filebot androidThis almost did what i wanted when ran from utorrent but it did not delete the original files it just copied to the new location and i dont use plex so the end bit seems unnecessary, i use emby through kodi in 4 rooms and on 3 phones ( android)Īlso i have no idea how to make this work as a command line. I know its a big ask and you being the all important genre king of the internet and all, but as a fellow filebot fan, no as a fellow internet denizen i implore you!!!! PLEASE help meīy the way it may infact be 11.45 pm right now and i may have had one or two whiskeys in my quest to automative perfection but that does not in anyway diminish the utmost respect and esteem i hold you in.įilebot -script fn:amc -output "F:\Sorted" -action move -conflict skip -non-strict -def artwork=y ut_label=Movie movieFormat="Movies/" so the script in utorrent has to match the cmd/bat file exactly. I think you pay maybe 5 for 1 year, well worth it for the hours it. Im not sure if this belongs in this sub, but Filebot has been a fantastic tool for me. On top of this i have new films downloading all the time i would like to be able to use a script for utorrent and a cmd/bat file for the existing movies that will MOVE not copy all files in to the correct genre folder. Yes but renaming movies is easier, I know that if you have a bunch of movie files youll gonna need Filebot but is it really necessary to pay for a software you may going to use only once. now i started this little project of mine a long time before i discovered the wonder that is the modern marvel of filebot so the genres are not really well sorted, they are just where i felt the film belonged at the time. FileBot: as already mentioned by others this is a good tool to rename your files depending on an online source like TheTVDB. But they are not just renamers but also media managers in which you can add indexers, download clients and other things. I have over 1900 films hand sorted in to 16 genresĪction, adventure, animation, biography comedy comic book. Sonarr/Radarr: Probably the tools that are used in regards to this. so it would appear that you are the worlds leading expert on filebot genres sort fuction. ![]() i have googled and waded through a large number of pages that ultimately lead me back here to this very thread. I believe the MySQL part is the main problem in your setup and some setting in there tweaks the way Kodi looks at files in the same folder as the movie.Hi there was wondering how i would go about incorporating this function ( Genre sorting) straight in to utorrent. I do run Kodi and metadata is displayed correctly, however I don't run MySQL. I may disable the central database and recreate a local one to see if the artwork is displayed.ĭo you run KODI? and is the artwork and metadata correctly displayed? Media Center Master worked pretty great and has a free version that works. Filebot costs 20 now and theRenamer would not work correctly for me. I'm guessing from your response that no one else has this issue. So after digging for utilities to help fix some of my TV shows that were coming up incorrectly in Plex, I found Filebot, theRenamer, and Media Center Master. It may be due to the fact that my KODI MySQL database is run from a central server with multiple users, or that the database was created years ago and has migrated across multiple versions of KODI. They never have (I remember having to alter the naming convention in couchpotato a couple of years ago). I have read the KODI wiki and seen that they should display correctly. ![]() ![]() i have a very powerful Nvidia Shield TV (Android TV) and a Raspberry Pi 3. They all run the latest stable KODI 17.6. Filebot has the ability to connect with plex and force a library scan after. It's really weird! I have 3 KODI boxes in the house, 2 Android and 1 Raspberry Pi3. Kodi should pick them all up just fine as detailed here Movie Artwork and here Movie NFO. However I don't think FileBot is in any way involved here. Try with Kim's scripts, they should handle it fine.
